Update: Dutch Police release Footage of Burglars in Drents Museum Heist

The Dutch police released surveillance footage of the burglary at the Drents Museum in Assen, during which valuable Romanian artifacts were stolen.

The footage shows three masked individuals breaking open an exterior door, followed by an explosion. All three suspects were wearing hooded clothing and are unidentifiable. It is unclear if more people were involved in the heist.
The burglary occurred around 3:45 AM and resulted in the theft of the golden helmet of Cotofenesti and three golden bracelets. These unique items, on loan from Romania, are of great historical and cultural significance. The helmet, made of nearly pure gold, is considered a Romanian national treasure.
The Drents Museum organized the exhibition in collaboration with the National History Museum in Bucharest.
"Netherlands will do everything possible to recover the objects, track down the perpetrators, and ensure they are brought to justice," said Minister Bruins of Culture. "These historical objects are of great importance to Romania and are part of its cultural heritage."
