Uffizi Museum to set New Record of 5 Million Visitors this Year

The Uffizi Gallery museums said Thursday that they are set to register a new record of over five million visitors this year.

That is significantly higher than the previous record of around 4.3 million set before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019.

The Florentine museum complex said it will take in more than 60 million in revenue this year for another record, as this almost 50% more than the previous best year of 2015.

The figure is also 70% more than the 35 million euros in revenue made in 2022. The Uffizi Gallery museums complex includes the Uffizi itself, Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens.
