Stuttgarter Haus Der Geschichte invites you to visit the Museum Naked

The Haus der Geschichte in Stuttgart, Germany, invites visitors to walk around naked in the museum.

The museum currently has an exhibition about swimming and organizes two evenings where the intention is that all guests will take their clothes off, except the shoes.

The Museum of History wants to show that society’s views change about it. “The pool reflects our society,” the website reads. “Several lifestyles and views meet there. Sometimes more and sometimes less harmonious.”

The exhibition is about the acceptance of being naked by the pool. Attention is also paid to the historical exclusion of populations at public swimming pools. For example, in the past a distinction was made between social classes, foreigners and during the Nazi era, the Jewish population and “foreigners” were excluded.

For those who want to attend, the two nude nights are sold out.
