Badru Temitayo, Stephen Aragbada, David Olatoye and Obafemi Awolowo are four emerging Nigerian artists poised to make a significant impact in the art world.

Badru Temitayo began his career in art while commencing his higher education at the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta. There, he specialised in sculpture and textile, and proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile–Ife, Osun State where he obtained a B.A. and MFA degrees in Fine and Applied Arts (Textile Design Major).
David Olatoye's work was exhibited 1:54 London, 1:54 Marrakech in collaboration with Christie’s, his works are collected by Lola Ogunnaike, Victor Ehikamenor, Chidiogo akunyili-Parr, (sister to Njideka Akunyili Crosby , one of the artists he is influenced by). David Olatoye is preparing some exhibitions, one of it them is a solo exhibition featuring some of Pa Demas Nwoko’s designs.
Mobolaji Ogunrosoye is a visual artist born in Lagos, Nigeria. She uses Collage and Photography to explore ideas around distortion and perception using found and captured images of (West) African women on the continent and the diaspora.
In 2018, Mobolaji held her first solo exhibition titled Loose Woman curated by A White Space Creative Agency. She was awarded an inaugural virtual residency at Window, Winnipeg in 2020, which gave her the space to reinterpret digital and analog collage as a harmonized medium. During the residency, her practice evolved and she produced a photographic series centered on distortion and the portrayal of the female body in contemporary African society. Mobolaji was selected as a finalist for the Art X prize, 2021. Mobolaji participates in the group exhibiton Grow It, Show It at Museum Folkwang in Essen, starting September 2024.
