Museum Reinhard Ernst opens on June 23 in Wiesbaden, Germany

The Museum Reinhard Ernst (mre) will celebrate its grand opening on Sunday, June 23, 2024 in Wiesbaden's city center.

Museum Reinhard Ernst focusses on abstract art. Some of the masterpieces shown here from the period after 1945 to the present are being exhibited to the public for the first time. 

The first exhibition titled “Color is everything!” will show a selection of 60 works from the Reinhard Ernst collection, which includes over 960 works, including paintings and sculptures by Tony Cragg, Helen Frankenthaler, Karl Otto Götz, Hans Hartung, Yuichi Inoue , Lee Krasner, Morris Louis, Tai R, Judit Reigl, Pierre Soulages, Toko Shinoda, Frank Stella, Atsuko Tanaka and Wolfgang Tillmans.

Opening hours : Tuesday-Sunday 12.00-18.00h and Wednesday till 21.00h.
