Largest Nude Museum visit in the Low Countries

On Friday, February 28, more than 300 naturists from Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, and Luxembourg will gather at the Boverie Museum in Liège, Belgium, for a unique nude visit to the exhibition Paul Delvaux and His Universe. This will be the largest naturist museum night ever held in the Low Countries.

The idea for a naked nocturne at the Delvaux exhibition comes from Blootgewone Eva’s en Adams (Bltgwn). The exhibition builder Tempora, responsible for the concept and development of "Paul Delvaux and His Universe", immediately embraced the proposal. Given Delvaux’s many idealized female nudes, his work is particularly suited for engaging in a dialogue with nude visitors.
Paul Delvaux (1897–1994) was one of the most iconic Belgian painters of the 20th century. Inspired by surrealism, classical architecture, and his own childhood memories, his enigmatic compositions—featuring nude women, detailed trains, and an eclectic mix of architectural elements—have earned a lasting place in art history.
Blootgewone Eva’s en Adams, based in Ghent, was founded in 2024 by seven naturists with a passion for art. The group aims to temporarily open cultural locations for “nude-normal” visits. One of their key goals is to help women overcome their hesitation, as they often form a minority at naturist events.
