Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Joins Italy's National Museum System
The official accreditation certifies the institution’s status as a museum and validates its high standards of quality.
Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo has officially been accredited to the Sistema Museale Nazionale (National Museum System), earning official recognition as a museum by the Piedmont Region as part of the accreditation process for non-state museum institutions.
Pursuant to Executive Decree, the regional evaluation commission certified that the institution fully meets the quality requirements established by the National Museum System, while achieving significant additional standards. The accreditation certifies the foundation's excellence across management, conservation, research, accessibility, heritage enhancement, and public services.
Founded in 1995 by Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, the Foundation is today one of Italy’s leading institutions dedicated to contemporary art. Over more than three decades, it has built a benchmark international collection, supported generations of artists through production and residency programs, promoted curatorial research, and developed a robust educational program engaging audiences of all ages.
Joining the National Museum System represents a major recognition of the Foundation’s trajectory and its vital role within both the Italian and international cultural landscapes.
