Art Queens Gallery curated a historic exhibition featuring six international women artists, transforming Times Square into an open-air gallery and reaching over 6 million viewers worldwide.
On August 16, 2025, Times Square witnessed history as Women Beyond Borders became the first-ever all-women art exhibition to take over its massive digital billboards. Curated by Art Queens Gallery, the event showcased the work of six visionary women artists, merging physical and digital worlds by extending simultaneously into the Metaverse.
The exhibition reached more than 6 million viewers worldwide via EarthCam, turning the world’s most iconic square into a global cultural stage. The event highlighted how women’s creativity knows no boundaries, challenging traditional gallery walls and opening new horizons for visibility in the art world.
Participating artists described the event as an “epic exhibition” and “a dream come true.” Katherine Miller reflected, “The vibrant energy of the city combined with the scale of the display made my art feel alive.” Annica Hallman emphasized the gallery’s pioneering spirit: “You are a gallery with a big heart! You see women’s art, lift them, publish them so the world can experience. I think you can change history!” Alexandra Telgmann added, “Coming from traditional oil painting, it’s incredible to see my work also presented in the Metaverse showcase.”
