China to support Exhibition Upgrade at Rwanda’s Mulindi w’Intwari Liberation Museum
Minister Dr. Bizimana, announced that Rwanda will collaborate with the National Museum of China to manage and preserve the Rwanda Liberation War Historical Museum at Mulindi w'Intwari in Gicumbi District.
Minister Dr. Bizimana explained that this is part of a large-scale project planned to be implemented over a two-year period and that a collaboration agreement has already been signed.
He said, "Although we have not yet reached a conclusion, regarding the management of the cultural center, we are discussing with our Chinese partners to see if there is a partnership we can have, based on their knowledge but also based on the financial capacity they can provide us."
A team of Chinese experts will come to Rwanda in June 2026 to help Rwanda conduct a thorough study that will identify the financial and technological needs of both sides.
The National Liberation Museum is located at Mulindi w'Intwari in the Northern Province, Gicumbi District, Kaniga Sector, Mukindi Cell, Nyakabungo Village.
