The Centre Pompidou and the Hanwha Culture Foundation signed on Sunday 19th March in Paris a partnership agreement

The Centre Pompidou and the Hanwha Culture Foundation signed on Sunday 19th March in Paris a partnership agreement in the framework of the project to create a museum of modern and contemporary art in Seoul, South Korea.

The agreement was signed by Shin Hyunwoo, President of the Hanwha Culture Foundation and Laurent Le Bon, President of the Centre Pompidou.

Over the course of this four-year collaboration, the Centre Pompidou will present eight monographic exhibitions (two per year) based on a selection of works from
the Centre Pompidou collection.

Scheduled to open in 2025, the museum will be housed in Tower 63 (Hanwha Group headquarters), which will be entirely renovated by French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte.
