Archaeologists uncover a 1,500-year-old Byzantine Monastery in Israel

A monastery with a colorful mosaic floor and a Greek inscription, a sophisticated winepress and other buildings were discovered in Israel in an excavation by the Israel Antiquities Authority, conducted as part of the Israel Land Authority's development works for the establishment of "Karmey Gat North” neighborhood.
