22-Year-Old Palestinian Artist Dina Zaurub killed in Airstrike

Palestinian artist Dina Khaled Zaurub was killed in an airstrike west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

The strike hit the tent where she and her family had taken shelter near the Sand Beach resort, Quds News Network reported.

The 22-year-old gained recognition for painting portraits of victims killed by Israel, honoring the lives lost during the ongoing genocide. Several Palestinian activists mourned her death.

The Palestinian Ministry of Culture mourned her loss, calling her a talented young woman whose life was cut short by the war. In a statement, the ministry offered condolences to her family and the cultural community, calling her death part of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
