The organisers of 1-54 Contemporary African Art fair have announced the difficult decision to postpone this year’s edition of 1-54 Marrakech.
Since its launch in 2018, 1-54 Marrakech has positioned itself as a dynamic and original edition attracting an ever-growing audience from all around the world. Our programme in collaboration with key cultural institutions brings this unique energy that makes 1-54 Marrakech so dear to us. We were delighted to present this edition on the continent and were very much looking forward to welcoming you to La Mamounia.
However, the reality of the present world situation and the uncertainty of travel restrictions, alongside other factors, are profoundly affecting our future plans. This decision is informed by the fact that the current context is not conducive to an experience worthy of what we have been able to uphold in previous editions. 1-54 Marrakech will be back as soon as health conditions allow it.
