The second edition of the Photographs – Icons & Style sale will take place on 30 June in Paris. Comprising over 60 classic, modern and contemporary works, valued between €3,000 and €250,000, the sale honors the work of Irving Penn and Helmut Newton, as well as Robert Mapplethorpe, William Klein, Araki, Nick Brandt, Loretta Lux and Stéphane Sednaoui. The monumental print Big Nude II by Helmut Newton, included in the famous series of the same name produced in the 1980s and valued between €250,000 and €350,000, will be one of the top lots of this sale. Whether they show towering flowers, nudes, famous models, wild animals or revisited still lifes, these images continue to be iconic and each reflect a significant period and style in the history of photography.
