After the announcement of a new lockdown by the Belgian government, Art Brussels has decided to reschedule the Art Brussels WEEK from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 June 2021, accompanied by an Online Viewing Room by Artsy, from Wednesday 2 to Monday 14 June (VIP Preview on Tuesday 1 June).
The Art Brussels WEEK celebrates more than 150 shows running in various gallery spaces. Aided by digital city maps of Brussels, Paris, Antwerp and Knokke, and a printed city map of Brussels, the visitor will be able to prepare his/her gallery parcours. Galleries from other areas will also be included in this event. Most of the galleries in Belgium will extend their opening hours and will organise open doors on Sunday 6 June.
Art Brussels has been running since 1968; judging from its name, it is no surprise that there is a special focus on the Brussels art scene. 39 Brussels galleries appear on the city map and guided tours will be available during the weekend of 5 and 6 June. An overview of the running shows and the city maps is available on the fair’s website.
Off line: Gallery tour from Thursday 3 – Sunday 5 June 2021, from 11am – 6 pm during the weekend 5-6 June
Online: OVR via ArtsyPreview: Tuesday 1 June
Public days: Wednesday 2 June until Monday 14 June 2021
